Our belief in God must be a conviction, not just a preference. According to a Supreme Court Ruling, the latter can be changed, and therefore, not covered by the 1st Amendment. True Conviction is often revealed through hardship. When those difficult times come, what will we do? Will we be fully convicted or shown as having a preference?
